2008-2009 (Junior Year)
Started in all 25 contests for the Pirates this season...average 26.9 minutes and 4.8 points per game...was 45-149 for 30.2% from the field and 17-62 for 27.4% from beyond the arc...led the team in free throw percentage at 80% (12-15)...pulled down 91 rebounds, 3.6 per game...recorded 51 assists, 12 blocks and 34 steals...Chi Alpha Sigma recipient.

2007-2008 (Sophomore Year)
Herbst appeared in all 26 games and 15 SCAC contests in her second season for the Bucs...averaged 11.7 minutes per game, logging 303 minutes on the floor...scored 42 points averaging 1.6 PPG...went 15-58 with a .259 FG percentage...9-15 FT-FTA for a .600 FT percentage...grabbed 39 total rebounds on the year, had 13 assists, 7 blocks and 22 steals on the season...was seventh on the team in FT percentage...ranked sixth on the squad in steals (.85 per game)...led the team in rebounds twice with 4 vs. Eureka College (11/17/07) and 3 vs. DePauw (2/29/08)...led the team in steals six times during the year with a season high of 3 vs. Schreiner (12/17/07), Millsaps (1/4/08) and Millsaps (2/15/08)...was recognized as a SCAC Scholar Athlete.

2006-2007 (First Year)
Herbst appeared in 12 games and saw action in 6 SCAC contests in her first year as a Pirate...saw 58 minutes of action and shot 4-12 from the field scoring 12 points on the year averaging 1.0 points per game...scored 10 of her points in SCAC contest shooting 3-6 for a .500 FG percentage in SCAC play...shot 3-4 from the free throw line for a .750 Ft-percentage...grabbed 10 rebounds on the year...dished out 7 assists and had 4 blocks and 5 steals in her rookie campaign...was on the Dean's List the fall semester of 2006.

High School
Herbst was an Al-District and Academic All-State and All-District pick for the Greyhounds at Boerne HS.

Jessica is the daughter of Richard and Michele Herbst...born on August 19, 1988...has one sister - Becca...is a Sociology major with a Spanish minor at SU.
